Les élèves de l’option LCE Anglais en sortie au théâtre à Bordeaux publié le 14/03/2023

Le mercredi 1er février, les élèves de l’option LCE Anglais (les 4èmes de Mme Taillefer et les 3èmes de M. Ribon) sont allés au théâtre de la Pergola à Bordeaux pour voir une pièce adaptée du célèbre roman de Charles Dickens « Oliver Twist ».
Ils ont pu assister à un spectacle interprété intégralement en anglais par des acteurs britanniques.
Cette sortie était l’aboutissement d’un projet autour de l’époque Victorienne.

Voici un petit article en anglais rédigé par des élèves de la classe de 4ème LCE :

On Wednesday February 1st, we went to the theatre in Bordeaux. It was the play « Oliver Twist » adapted from the novel of Charles Dickens.
We took the bus at school at 8.15 and we arrived at the theatre at 10.30 … we arrived just on time because of the traffic jam on the road !

The show was good and interesting. The British actors acted and sang like in a musical. It was original and they sang very well. It was different from the film we studied in class.

After the play, we had a picnic at « the Park Bordelais ». It was sunny. We relaxed and had fun.

Then, we took the bus to come back to Angoulême. We were at René Cassin School at 3.30 pm.

It was a great day for everybody !

We had picnic in a park.

We were at school at 3.30.

2. Personal impressions

We enjoyed the play.
The actors were good but the language was sometimes difficult.
The songs were good. The actors sang very well.
