Visite au Lycée Marguerite de Valois publié le 03/11/2025

Le vendredi 10 octobre nos élèves de LCE anglais ont été invités au lycée Marguerite de Valois par les professeurs d’anglais de la section euro et leurs élèves. Les terminales avaient préparé différents ateliers dans le cadre de la Fête de la science et ont proposé aux élèves de 3e de participer à des jeux et des expériences scientifiques. Ce fut un moment d’échange riche et amusant qui a permis aux élèves non seulement de découvrir le lycée mais également de voir en quoi consistait la section euro. Un grand merci aux organisateurs. Nous espérons que l’expérience pourra être renouvelée l’année prochaine !

“Last Friday, the LCE English class went to « Marguerite de Valois »in Angoulême. We saw some expositions made by the students there but we sadly couldn’t view all of them.
The first exposition was about how science is dangerous yet helpful.
The second exposition was about famous scientists like Stephen Hawking or Marie Curie .
The third one was about a chemical reaction that lets fireflies glow in the dark.
The final exposition was about how stress can effect performance.
The most entertaining exposition was the fourth one because it included a fun game about stress affecting memorization but it wasn’t my favorite because we were stressed either way because they were watching us. My favorite one was the exposition about famous scientists because I got to learn the most.”

“On October 10 we went to Marguerite of Valois .The students presented science in English .They had prepared games. For example we played Time’s Up in English about great scientists.”

“In Marguerite de Valois, I liked the activity which was about stress. We had to put our head in a cardboard box and we had to memorize letters. And the second time, the other people could move our chair. It was very funny. »

There were some stands about science. Our favorite stand was “ The mystery boxes” .
It was interesting to see how we react when we are stressed or not .
