Emily Cohen is our new English assistant. She is from New-York where she was born on April 26th 1988, so she is 22 years old. She is 1.58 m but she doesn’t know how much she weighs and she doesn’t want to know… Her eyes are brown and her hair is brown too. She is single, she hasn’t got any pets but she would like to have a dog one day.
She is American and New-Zealander and she loves travelling. She has already travelled a lot all over the world : she has been to Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Italy, Spain, France, Luxemburg… In France, she has visited the Mont Saint Michel, the French Riviera, Normandy, Paris, Tours, Orleans, Royan… She speaks English and French and she would like to learn Spanish too.
Apart from travelling, she enjoys cooking and eating. She is also sporty. When she was in High School in New-York, she played field hockey and lacrosse. She was the captain of her lacrosse team. She used to train six days a week, three to four hours a day !!! Then, she studied International relations and political science at the American University in Washington DC but she doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life yet.
She loves France and Paris, where she spent 8 months when she was a student, that’s why she has accepted the contract with the “National Education” and she will stay in Angoulême till the end of April. She lives in the “Lycée Guez de Balzac” where she also teaches English.
She told us she prefers Paris to New-York because there is more history, so we hope she will enjoy our old city of Angoulême too.
