We left Niort at 6.19 a.m and arrived in Paris at 9.01 a.m. We took the Eurostar in Paris at 12.13 p.m and arrived in London St pancras at 1.45 p.m. The journey took 14 houres.

Monday march 11th :

We visited the British Museum and we saw Egyptian Mummies and the Rosetta stone, which allowed Champollion to understand the hieroglyph.
Then we discovered Covent Garden.
At 7.00 p.m we meet our family.

Tuesday march 12th :

We saw St Paul’s cathedral and crossed the Millenium Bridge to go to the Tate Modern. We had lunch in this Museum because it was FREEZING !
In the afternoon we went for a walk along the Thames up to the Tower of London that we visited.
We went back home at 7.00 p.m.

Wednesday march 13th :

In the morning, we went to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards. We discovered Westminster area and then we took a double decker bus to go to the Science Museum. We could choose between the Science and the Natural History museum. Both were very interesting and instructive. At 4.00 p.m, we went shopping at Harrod’s. It was so big and luxurious ! We went back home at 7.00 p.m.

Thursday march 14th :

In the morning we visited the Sherlock Holmes Museum. How funny ! What a strange museum !
We ate in Green Park and we went to Camden Town to do some Shopping. We had a cream tea and finally we visited the M&M’s world. It was amazing. And we went back home at 7.00 p.m.

Friday march 15th :

In the morning, we came back to Westminster area to visit Westminster Abbey. We went to the train station to take the 12.58 p.m train and go back home.

On our way back, we left London at 12.58 p.m and arrived in Lille Europe at 3.45 p.m. We left Lille Flandres at 5.08 p.m and arrived in Niort at 10.47 p.m.
